Check Engine Light

Asked by Biggie54 Aug 22, 2017 at 09:00 AM about the 2006 Pontiac G6 Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 with 157,000 miles.   Just had 2 sensors replaced
and the check engine and traction control lights went off...this morning less than
50 miles after taking out of the shop the check engine light comes back on.
Any ideas?    Inspection due by 31st of the month....

Definitely take it back because (Just for anyone interested) if you unhook the battery the check engine light will go off but if you haven't fixed the problem at around 50 miles it will come back on. The problem was never fixed.
