1991 Nissan D21 pickup won't start

the pickup was working perfectly, then 30 minutes later we came back to drive home and nothing. we turn the ignition and we get no red light on the dashboard. battery is fine. I can hear the fuel pump running.
i also checked the terminals of the ignition switch. it is working properly.

Relay, Neutral switch behind clutch pedal or bad cable to starter or starter solenoid or bad ignition. Same problem on my 91 D21..., fixed with bad starter relay. 20 bux at Oriellys. Done =)

    Started and ran fine last week. Now, it just cranks over but I'm not getting ignition. Battery strong, engine turns over fast, have over a quarter of tank of gas. It used to start almost instantly.
