Question type: General

1993 Nissan 3.0 V6 4X4 with manual Trans. The truck ran fine, had a bad pilot bushing, pulled the tranny and reinstalled will not start. turns over fine, I have spark and good fuel flow. Is there a Neutral safety switch in the tranny that could cause it not to start?

There is a safety switch on tranny, but if you have fuel pressure and spark fire that want be the issue, sound,s like a timming issue.

I would think that as well but it ran before and I can get it to run with starter fluid. One thing I did not mention was I was using the small tranny lift from Harbor freight and the transmission fell on the floor and hit the four switches. Does anybody know what the safety switch 0n the transmission operates?
