I have a 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 w/ 20K miles; quite suddenly the clutch pedal seems soft like 1/2 of a pedal, and it seems a bit difficult to change gears; whats happening?

try adjusting the clutch linkage- if it is a cable, that will be easy- if it is hydraulic, check for leaks at the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder- even with only 20 grand, the clutch may have been used quite a lot if you live in a city-

If you have a Hyd. throw out bearing for a slave cyl, (like my SRT 10) you can't see it until the trans is removed. Wait until you try to get the elect plugs apart under the dash, what were they thinking!! What crap! Oh yeah, turn master cyl 1/4 turn and slips out of the firewall. Well, if only the power brake unit was removed! Did any of these guys ever work on an SRT 10?
