try to slow the flow by not squeezing handle all the way, maybe on slowest setting

Next time you fuel up, don't put the end down so far into the tube.

I have a 2002 that does the same thing. When I put the nozzle in, turn it a little to the side and I have no problem. Dodge Caravans have the same problem sometimes.
