One reason for a dead battery is that the hatch light stays on. Bad design; should be on a timer. Solution currently is to place tape on the switch so it is not possible to put the switch in the "always on" position. Light should be either off or go off when the hatch door is closed. MK
C'mon! It's a three-way switch! Just set it to illuminate with the hatch ajar or turn it off.
