97 Mustang won't start

My 97 Mustang was spraying gas, I fixed the leak. It was
the connector to the fuel fillter. Now the car won't start at
all. I hear the fuel pump kicks in. What could it be?

check for fuel pressure at the motor , something else may have gone wrong by pure coincidence

then there's a problem with the pump , check for power and ground ,
