In a 2019 Ford Escape should gear shift
letters light up at night. I know it’s on the
instrument panel but are the letters on the
shift itself lit at night?

The gear shift on our 2018 Escape doesn’t light up. I was surprised and disappointed!

No, sadly they don't light up. I assumed they would (why wouldn't they?), so I didn't even think to ask about it. Not a deal-breaker, but still disappointed.
