71 lemans driver side wiper arm install. Where does this extra (arm) attatched to the wiper arm go to?

There should be a small post next to the large post that the extra arm goes on. If I remember correctly it's held on by a "C" clip. To park the wipers correctly position the ends of the blades just below the stops that stick up on the stainless steel lower windshield trim, if you have concealed wipers. Lift the wiper blades over the stops when you're through installing the arms. Hope that helps! Jim

You're welcome. Glad to help! If the small post is gone you'll need to replace the wiper arm post assembly (3 bolts) or possibly the wiper transmission. But I think the post assembly is replaceable by itself. The trick will be finding one. Hope that helps! Jim

There's one for sale on Ebay. It's item number 351213399303. The seller calls it wiper arm transmission linkage artIculating pin replacement. Looks like it presses into the transmission next to the big wiper arm post. Hope that helps! Jim
