Replaced fuel filter, drained tank, replaced fuel and issues still exist. Have not replaced fuel pump. Can a fuel pump work, off and on ? I always heard they either work or don't.

I have a 2001 XLS montero Mitsusbishi. The engine light isn't on and it doesn't over heat. It runs, sounds great. It started losing coolant and within days when I put anti freeze in the reserve tan...
