My information does not go back that far but your fuel pump runs off a fuse and a relay. You will have a fuse block under the dash, and a power distribution box under the hood. They might be labeled. Check all fuses and relays one at a time until you find the burnt one and replace it. The spark comes on when you jumper the fuel pump, so voltage might be back feeding and/or it's the same circuit.
