Question type: Maintenance & Repair

3 times within 4 weeks, service engine light comes on while sitting with motor
running over 10 minutes. Repair shops not able to find anything. Up to date
on all maintenance. 1rst time shop reset, 2 no time went away after 2 days
not driven and 3 red time, just stays on ( less than 24 hours) Any ideas?

how many miles on the car, Allot of times the service light will come on because the Cats are starting to clog up and will not throw a code but the will turn on the service light or the car is running on the hot side, this will also turn on the service light !

184,000. It's just really been a great car so trying to keep it bit longer. I forgot to add when the light first comes on it runs little sluggish but once I start driving its fine

Also, all gauges on the car are good, no issues. Run the system check for fluids, engine, etc all ok
