Buying

Asked by Todd Oct 20, 2019 at 12:55 PM about the 2006 Ford Mustang GT Coupe RWD

Question type: General

I have a car I'm interested in and I have
been approved for financing . The seller
only wants cash with none of the
paperwork . He just has the title and will
hand it over after cash in hand. How do I
go about this?

1 Answer

No problem. Make sure he also gives you a bill of sale. If your state requires a recent smog certificate, tell him you need that too (even if they don't you should insist on one). The transfer of title can be done at your local DMV office where you will pay the taxes and fees.
