Check engine

I have a Jeep Cherokee 2018  with 37000 latitude
that has a check engine light and sometimes tells
me to put the car in park while I’m driving.i want to
know if any body else had this problem

Should still be under warranty. Have you had the recall software patch applied?

My 2015 Grand Cherokee downloaded one update over the satellite connection. I had another update installed by the dealer.
