Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My check engine light and chime come on intermittently and then go off again, just turn come back on a few minutes later. I don't care about the light, but the chime is driving me crazy. How can I disable the chime?

Disconnect the battery for about a half hour. That will clear the codes. Any luck it won't come on again.
