I've heard of people using it and they seemed to get better results, but bear in mind, the fluid your adding is just a temporary fix. If you plan on keep the vehicle for a long time, it's best to get it repaired the right way, which sounds to me like a rebuild.

Remember also that it may not work at all if the tranny has severe damage. This is something you can use to extend the time for the repair it is not a real fix just an extender when it works.
