Can I hook both hoses that I take off of the heater core
together to bypass on my 1964 Chevy C 10 pick up I want
take the  Core out completely and give it to a friend

The supply hose that goes to heater core, route to the fitting where the return line goes and use a hose clamp. Just make sure it doesn't leak. The coolant will just circulate. Just my opinion.
