What gives with the gas tank? I had to install mine upside down.. now no gas gauge work and air vent for tank..crazy.

its still working ,just that when upside down the float will head toward the bottom witch registers empty though its full up, just keep this in mind

Why did you have to install it upside down - It should just drop in from the top. Sounds like the wrong tank. The only issue with some tanks is the stock ones have a slanted side on the passenger side to allow for clearance of the stock muffler. The after markets are typcially straight up and down with no slant. You can just get a smaller diameter muffler for 30$ and use the aftermarket without any problems.
