Tahoe windows roll down by themselves

I changed the battery on my 2017 Tahoe. Now the windows roll down by
themselves when i shut off the engine. If I'm in car after I turn the key off and
remove it I can still roll them up. After I open the door they roll themselves
down again. This is all four windows. It also sounds like there are random
solenoid (door lock?) sounds in the door. Fortunately its been pretty nice in
Seattle without rain but I don't expect that to last.

Did you forget to use the saver tool that plugs into the OBD 2 port before disconnecting the battery? If you didn’t use the tool then now you need the dealer to do a flash on the computer system.

Most likely you need to be towed to your local Chevrolet Dealer to have the computers flashed (reprogrammed). Many newer vehicles must have the computers powered up at all times. Including during a battery replacement. You should have plugged in a memory saver device into the OBD II plug under the dash before you disconnected the old battery. Hope that helps! Jim

Thanks James, It still runs and I've driven it. It's just that the windows roll down by themselves - sometimes minutes after I've removed the key, left the car and locked it. I will take it in because it's going to start the 8 month rainy season in Seattle.
