Cutting in and out

I have been trying for a while and can't figure out
why my engine will cut in and out while driving
after it gets warmed up and while at idle it just has
a little tremor but won't cut out while sitting there

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? The basics for problems at higher rpms, check for blockage of some kind. The first two things I think of are fuel and exhaust. If you have the spider fuel system, that system is noted for problems. I did look up fuel pressure, 5.7L engine, 60--66 psi, key on engine off.
