1984 Chrysler Fifth Avenue. Move the door handle and interior lights come on
but will not then go off (timer issue?). Come back 20 minutes, lights still on.
Come back next day battery is dead.  Solutions?

Yes there is a timer unit it is usually located close to the inside fuse box and looks like an old fluorescent light starter.
