Parking brake light and battery light are on

I bought a 2001 Hyundai sonata drove
it about 200 miles then as I was driving
it and the lights went really dim then
the car started jerking bad then died. I
changed the mass air flow sensor but
it still won't stay on... The brake light
and the battery light stay on Everytime
we jump it but once u take the jumper
cables off it dies a couple mins later
what could be wrong with it...???

the batt light usually means the alternator in bad , if you replace it make sure the batt is charged don;t make a new alt do it , now that the batt has been working over time it may be next to need replacing , check your brake fluid level and top it off for the brake light ,
