I have a 2000 ford expedition 4WD 5.4L triton motor I put a new starter solenoid and new battery and cables on it and still just making a single clicking noise any suggestions

Did you have the battery tested? Not" do the headlights come on" but an actual Load test.

Is your motor froze up? See if you can turn it over with a breaker bar on the front pulley nut. If you can't turn it over, pull the plugs and try again. Has the car been sitting for a long time? Any other history we should know about.

The same answer applies to you also. WARNING: the plugs on the 5.4 can (will) give you a lot of problems. Google removing them.

There are 2 solenoids on the 2000 ford expedition. One on the firewall and one on the starter.

Where is the solenoid located on a firewall on the driver side door on the driver side I haven't seen what I've been looking
