i am a new with a honda passport 1998 and i can not find the thing to check the oil level in the engine
there is a dipstick. loopy end yellow handle bout midway down the motor on the driver's side. with the engine off pull it out, with a rag wipe it off, find the hole to put it back in all the way. twizzle it a bit and pull it out once again. You will see the oil level and how close to the marks that the oil level is. If it's been running should be slightly less level because the oil is still in the motor yet. Cold, you get a more accurate reading because the oils settled down with gravity.
It should be on the passenger side around in the center of the engine.
wherever it is a loop. that we could agree-
