check fuel pressure is present at fuel rail bleeder when the ignition is turned on. If you hear the fuel pump and have pressure, next would be the cam or crank sensor.

I have a similar issue. My 2002 honda accord special edition will crank but not start. I changed the starter and jt worked for about 3 weeks and then would sometimes start but then die. I changed the fuel pump and filter but that didnt work, ive changed the distributor cap and rotor that didnt fix it and now ive changed the fuel main relay sensor. I dont have a clue what could be the problem this point. Anyone got a suggestion?

You need to do compression test for all pistons if you know how you do it it’s ok if you don’t know you can look to the YouTube how they do it ...if the pressure for all pistons mor than 150 psi that’s mean your engine it’s good ...

Check that the fuel pump is getting power when you turn on the ignition at the pump . Its the black wire with a yellow stripe. Probe it with a 12 volt test light when ignition is turned on it should light up the test light. BTW this vehicle has no rotor button. It sounds like it is the main fuel relay that has a short. PGM-FI relay.
