Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Ever since I have received my car from my Aunt and Uncle there has been a noise with the drivers side
window going up like it's being restricted but it goes up still but slower than the front passengers..., would
like to know what could be tried to fix it because it really gets on my nerves when I roll my window up and it
sounds like a whale dying :/

There may be a whale dying in the door. Sorry. Couldn't help myself. It seems some is indeed restricting the glass, is the weather-stripping around the window OK? If not, the glass may be rubbing on the metal part on the door. It also may simply need some lubrication, pop off the door panel (go buy new clips before you even start) and use maybe WD-40, but the problem with WD- 40 is it will work but only for a short time. Instead, maybe some sort of graphite or grease is even better.longer lasting. Before you pop the door panel check that weather stripping.
what kind of noise? if its a crunching noise then the cable on the window regulator is shot
a squeek is weather stripping , wd40 and see if it helps
