What caused front tire to fall off?

Asked by Guru9R8R9K Aug 10, 2022 at 01:07 PM about the 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A few days ago, I had my front sway bar links and link-stabilizer bar replaced.
After driving only a few miles the past few days, the front passenger-side tire
came off. The lug nuts were completely sheared off. If the parts were poorly
installed, could this have caused the issue? The dealership did a specific
100,000 mile inspection and found no other issues. Thank you.

Obviously johnny jerk wrench worked on your vehicle . Tires don't just fall off unless lug bolts aren't tightened or a ball joint or something else is completely worn . I was never a fan of dealerships .

Obviously the lug nuts were not properly tightened. The Dealer can pay for the tow back in, any repairs, and damage done to your vehicle by their negligence!! Hope that helps! Jim
