Is the alternator covered by manufacturer/extended warranty?

Asked by Cynthiaflores071 Jan 12, 2021 at 03:37 AM about the 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Jeep Cherokee Sport keeps turning off on me
while I'm driving on the main road. No sensors are on
indicating any services needed. Took to Autozone and
battery is good. Said it was my alternator? Purchased
vehicle in June 2020. Will the manufacturer warranty
cover alternator? If not will me extended warranty?
Please advise, anyone? You are appreciated!!

the factor warranty is only good for 3 years, so read your extended warranty if you bought one.
