Is the 93 GMC suburban fuel injected

Probably tbi fuel injection. The fuel pressure for that system is around 9--13 psi. 5 psi will not start and run a v8, in my opinion. You might be able to crank it enough that it will finally get enough gas to start, but, it will run poorly and die quickly.
