Now is this a true super sport? Also if yes does the pink slip

The VIN on a "62 will give only the body style and engine type (6 or 8). To find out if this is an original SS, you have to do some research. Peel up the rear carpet and if you're lucky there might be a build sheet that shows all the original options, SS was one of them. Otherwise, you can contact a local Chevy owners club and they might have your VIN serial number tied to the options, or contact Chevrolet Corporate customer service to see if they can help with this..... You could have included pictures. If there are SS badges on the body, do you have an SS interior? That's all the difference between an SS and an Impala.
