I listed a car on the site for the first time as a private seller. I buy and sell 10 or so cars a year. While starting the process to upgrade to a paid listing I noticed a very large difference in the value attributed to my car and an almost identical car listed by a 3 star dealer. A 3 star dealer! It appears that this site is very biased in your vehicle appraisal calculations against private sellers. I understand some appraisal variation but 15 or so percent of car value, the difference between a very good deal and a fair deal. This dealer favouring methodology certain hurts private seller but also does a disservice to buyers in my opinion. Why is this?

Dealer sells and private sells have always varied highly. What are the differences in the vehicles? You're almost a dealer yourself if you're selling that many cars. This site was mainly made for dealers but private sellers are allowed.
