Purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, V6, in May of 2014. I filed the Motor Vehicle Defect Notification Form on 7/15/15 after 21 visits to the dealership(s) for repairs to include 2 new transmissions and 2 new emergency braking systems. An appt. was made by Chrysler for today for the final repair attempt, however, we didn't make it to today. 2 days ago, the Jeep once again died and would not move. (at least it was there on time for the appt.) Chrysler Rep. arrived at the dealership today and do you want to guess his resolution??? Yet another transmission.... I am truly at a loss here. Lucky number 3... The 3rd "newly installed transmission" is the charm, Right? (or should we say 4th; taking into consideration the factory installed transmission) I am considering Arbitration at this time. Any new info. or updates on this?

I feel for you. I have been in touch with another person who was on this website who has a Trailhawk with similiar issues. She just turned the paperwork into an attorney. She was ready to give up. Thats what they want, Mine was arbitrated today, "documents only 3 panelists through NCDS. I will get the results within a few weeks. Chrysler sent their rebuttal which was hysterical. Even though the transmission is messed up, the car is jacked up it has stalled out, lost power, won't pass and on and on..they said it gets me "from point a to pint b". Don't they know what stall means?? In wsswnce, if the car moves at any given pint and time, and when it doesn't they can get it moving again, there is nothing wrong with it. ESPECIALLY if IT DOWSNT DUPLICATE!!!! I say what about when someone else who isn't in my car and I ma driving moves it??? Well, they j just fixed that problem, for now. Good luck. Class Action Lawsuit people before they claim they are broke again.

@GuruWPSSR ....I'm waiting on the judge's decision for the final arbitration as we speak....I want to know how you lost the case? Was in a lemon law hearing? Mine is a 2015 cherokee, we won our lemon law case. Now we arbitrated for damages and diminished value also loss of use!

I am going thru a similar issue with my 2017 Jeep Cherokee and went thru arbitration and lost. I am now working with a lemon law attorney who said FCA does not play by the rules with arbitration and lemon laws.

I did everything backwards according to my state legislative. I have a 2017 Jeep Renegade Latitude that has been in the shop 5 times. 3 of those times it has been in over 30 days. They have replaced the engine twice and every part on the new engine before it even ran. I hired a lawyer and I decline all 3 offers by FCA because it was a joke. I am going to file suit because I feel that the Lemon Law has been violated. The dealership said they didn't know how to fix it because they can't pinpoint the problem.

For those who lost their arbitration, what was the reason Chrysler gave?

Heading into arbitration next month for transmission issues in our 2015 Jeep Cherokee latitude. Chrysler deems it safe to drive and states it operates as it should. It lurches, loses power, causes whiplash, and even switches yec into reverse while I was in drive at a stop sign. Anyone have these issues and win arbitration? Not even 50000 miles on the Jeep. Also, the door handle has come off or loosened 3 times. So frustrated!
