Valvoline or Castrol conventional motor oil- original engine? Go with a heavier grade-

i was told that these engines used oil that contained zinc. do you know anything about this?

No, I did not know that your engine was any different than any other internal combustion engine of the time- do you have an owner's manual- just check there- or are you talking about the tranny or transfer case or differentials?
