just bought bronco ii, but didnt know that so many trucks were so messed up.they all have the same probs,no starting,then starting and running good,then the next second it's spitting and quiting.can't

seems most 2.9l bronco ii have alot of the same symptoms,it's been since the
80's and no fix.i find that amazing.the truck will start-won't start,starts and
idles smooth but-won't get out of it's own way,then it runs-idrive on road 2mi it
starts sputtering and dies,trailer home know it runs like a top.

That is a pretty old bronco. It could be all sorts of things. Have you done anything to it? Has the previous owner? I'm not aware of a common running issue to all broncos back then.
