Thanks Dan, but I can see the Thermostat housing, well enough to know that it's not the problem. I have been told to check the 5/8 heater hose, from the pump to the intake, gonna try that.

have you checked the intake manifold coolant crossover?

UPDATE: The original problem was the water pump to intake hose, which required removing most of the front of the engine. Then every single clamp (all those factory "spring" type) I had to remove to get to the first one, started leaking one by one. So if you ever have to remove these type clamps, replace them, rather than having to take them back off.

Hello, my mame is George and I to have a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, I truley love this vehicle but what I've noticed in the past twice now is that on the firewall of your van there are two heater hoses which have a plastic Y connection that end up cracking. Dont buy the new ones because you will pay upwards of $170 for one! Buy yourself a T connection a 1foot piece of hose (match the size), hose clamps. Cut the connection off and replace it with those parts it will only cost about $11.00 which is way better. I did this with both 2 years ago and like brand new.
