2013 mini Cooper s issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to replace my battery in my mini Cooper s,  as
my car would fail to start and would start goofy.  I
didn't do the battery registry,  after one week of
driving it I am getting a warning about my reversed
lights are not working they are not burnt out.  It just
seems strange with it being a 2013 I would have to
replace so many things...  Do you think the reverse
lights not working is a result from the battery not
being registered?  Any other ideas????

These cars are not the most well- oh, forget it, I'll just come right out and say it- these cars are a pile of problems- is it under warranty? at any rate, you will need a good mechanic to keep that thing together- you will get tired of asking us and just having us shake our heads-

Hi my name is Pedro, I had the same problem with my mini. I just got it a few months ago and I noticed that the reverse lights were not working . The fuse was good the light bulbs were good too. I did some reshearch and I found out that one of the reasons can be the reverse light switch located onset the antifreeze container. I went to get one at the AutoZone , it cost me $14.00. For my surprise the switch was disconected. It was an easy fix. I hope this solve your problem too. Have a wonderful day and take good care of yourself.
