1986 300zx base manual transmission....

COLD IDLE START.  Runs great after a couple of minutes.  Have changed and
cleaned just about everything. 60K miles. Have Platinum plugs....yes/no?   Is
the gap number different than .04 with Platinum

Check the cold start enrichment system, could be a sensor. The engine was designed to use copper plugs. Platinum plugs require higher powered coils to fire properly.
