I have an 03 Dodge Durango slt and I put an Engine out of an 02 both have
4 plugs one day it had a miss but was undetected by the obd so I tried
putting the 02 PCM and couldnt start the engine so I put the orignal PCM
back in and right then the ABS light came on flashing I have brand new tires

Welcome to the Wonderful World Of Digitized Cars..... Motto - Never put an older engine into a newer car without taking all the older car's computers & modules with it, even then it can be a nightmare. Neither the old or new PCM will be able to figure this out and you'll be left with myriad troubles like you're now experiencing..... With a good engine, you're truck's likely worth three grand. I suggest you either find the exact same engine that the truck had or scrap the truck as is.

The PCM is not plug and play or is it able to be swapped from vehicle to vehicle. The PCM must be programmed using the VIN. Hope that helps! Jim
