Well the alternator and starter will obviously be different because of the different engines. Except for the SRT8 I’m pretty sure most if not all suspension components will interchange. There was a styling refresh for the 08, so the headlights and front fascia/bumper cover are a little different BUT they might interchange. All interior parts should interchange without issue. The most important non-interchange parts are going to be drivetrain related. Engine, trans, brakes, differential, shock absorbers, springs, radiator, ECM, will all be different. Note that there are more interchange parts on a 300 than a Charger. Rear doors are exactly the same, but interior door panels are different. Front fenders are same, hood a little different. Rear bumper cover is same. If there is a pick-a- part junkyard near you, like LKQ, they can be very helpful with dirt cheap replacement parts. I.e. my drivers side rear door got banged up. My Magnum RT is the Brilliant black. So I registered online with LKQ and made a list of any compatible cars for which I need parts. So I get emails letting me know when a car comes into the lot with parts I might need. Wife has a 2008 Mercury Milan so I punched in that generation of Milan and Ford Fusion. I have an 06 Suburban. Punched in all the vehicles in that platform family. Anyway found a black 300 and sure enough drivers rear door was near perfect. To buy a replacement door costs between $300-$500, plus you have to have it painted, which could be another few hundred dollars. So say between $500-$1000. I got a perfectly matching door from LKQ which took 10 minutes to remove and then 20 minutes to remove mine and put the 300 door on, Total cost, $65. You’d be blown away with how many perfectly good parts are in these junkyards because the insurance companies “total” the car if you hit a pothole.
