Hi Mr. Wizard !
I am inquiring on the Life Expectancy of an AC
Compressor with mileage 147K.  In addition,  
what can be done to prolong operating life
cycle?

Using the AC in the winter occasionally (for a couple of minutes) will help keep the compressor lubed.
