I bought this jeep Cherokee 4x4 Hemi, someone installed a lift kit on it. The problem is : It started getting a flashing low tire which I checked the tire pressure and they are fine, Yesterday I was driving around 35mph and the car sort of jumped while a bing sounded. so I pulled over and shut off the car. When I started it again It seemed fine until it happened again at about the same speed only the engine light came on. Its not over heating. And I did a diagnotic with the key and all it says is perform service. service tire Press. system. ??

There is a tire pressure monitor/sensor in each wheel. Sounds like one of them may need to be replaced.

The tire pressure sensors shutting off are a sign that the engine is preparing to shut off on you. I have noticed that by the time the third sensor drops out hold onto the wheel and try to keep the gas pedal in one place if possible, it’ll shut off then wake back up like nothing happened about 1.5 seconds later. I figured out when i let off the gas or touched the brake during the off time it seems to confuse the computer and it won’t pick up where it left off, and you will either get some severe hurky jerky jumping out of the jeep or it won’t restart at all until you pull over and stop. Still dealing with the same problem for years, threw a bunch of money at it through stealerships and nothing has changed. Just learned to deal with it.
