I have a 2001 Chrysler 300m it just statred overheatin. I do have a problem with the sparks plugs. They havent been replaced since I got the car. I've read on some forms that it is as simple as changing them to stop this problem. My blinkers and hazard lights has went out as well. Any advice?

Spark plugs will not cause vehicle to over heat. Over heating is caused by bad thermostat, water pump, clogged radiator or cooling system or anti freeze leak.

And also make sure the fans are coming on.

Yep, had issues with overheating on 300m as well. As firebird said one of the radiator fans was not working. Replaced it and now is fine. If you change it out make sure you bleed the system well. There is a bleeder valve on the top of the block near the front.

My 2001 Chrysler 300M is overheating constantly. We think it could be a problem with the fans but we arent sure how the fans work and when they should start/stop spinning. 1 Answer

Should both fans be running at all times? Only one is spinning while the car is in park whether the a/c is on or off.
