04 chrysler 300m cam sensor failed while driving down interstate car stalled out restarted but run really rough ...Did this or could it have damaged the valves?

Are you sure it was cam sensor?I would think by your post that you may have a belt jumped timing if car is running rough,if car is skipping,it may mean you have warped valve,s.
