Car stopped accelerating

*My car has a bad water pump so I have to keep the
reservoir filled.*

As I'm making my way down the road the car stops
accelerating and sounds like it turned off. After I pulled off
to the side of the road it wouldn't crank. It would sputter
and that's it.
