Power window motor is getting tired, lubing the window tracks might help but eventually it will stop working.
On a thirty year old vehicle, I'm surprised the power windows work at all. Likely culprit is the motor, but if you rarely use that passenger window and the drivers window is OK, it might be something else. Might be an electrical problem, like a failed conductor or connection, or a failing window switch. A switch that's heating up will perform that way. If the passenger window button in the drivers master block is what's doing this, try the switch in the passenger door, if that works, it's the switch or wiring to the drivers switch. Meanwhile, try as Gene said, clean & lube the track for possible temporary operation. Then have a mechanic test the motor.
The power windows are protected by a circuit breaker. If all the windows stop working for a few minutes then the circuit breaker is tripping because the motor is drawing too much power. Most likely it's as Ed and Gene said. The motor is tired and drawing too much power and the situation is being exasperated by the window tracks needing to be cleaned and lubricated with white lithium grease. Hope that helps! Jim
