2011 BMW 750LI tranmission

The transmission stuck in neutral won't shift to park. I have to put the Brake on.

Do your brake lights work. Most cars have a safety feature which is will not allow the transmission to shift if the brakes are not applied and that sensor functions off of your brake lights
