Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I like to purchase this car but I think the price is too high however the dealer said this price is the lowest andd only $100 over invoice. $22,007.56 includes($19,676.00-price, $299 A.M.O,$55-doc fees,$1627.81-taxes, $341-license/smog abate, $8.75- total gov. fees.
Please advise

that sounds ok, but there is always room for negotiation...when i bought mine back in 07 i only paid about about 20k includeing fees and taxes, but i had an "s plan" which is an employee discount through mazda because a friend of the family is a salesman....i also work at a car dealership and if i were you, i would wait a few days to actually agree to purchase the vehicle. in the car community it is common knowledge that they are most willing to negotiate with you at the end of the month because they are really pushing to get the deal done by the end of the month to boost their numbers....so odd are you will get a better deal if you wait a week til like next friday or saturday.....
