If it's not a manual transmission, SELL it. But not because of the overheating issue. The Nissan CVT transmissions were plagued with many problems - catastrophic failures which required entire replacement of the CVT transmission, which might cost $4k. Nissan announced an extended 10-year/120k mile warrantee on the CVTs, so you still have one more year before the warrantee expires! The overheating issue might be something simple like a faulty thermostat, low coolant level, cooling fans malfunction, etc.
