How do you make them operate on Ignition on/off as opposed to pressing the L/R buttons simultaneously? Anybody any idea?

you may need to have this programmed at a dealer. it is a quick 5 min thing too.

You give ur VIN number to ur dealer and get it programmed . http://aston-martin-db9.net/
