2009 Escape has gone through 6 starters in less than 1 year. HELP!

Asked by Maggie Oct 08, 2018 at 10:21 AM about the 2009 Ford Escape XLT V6 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

09 Escape is in shop again after replacing 6th starter 3 months ago. Starters
either remain in on position or burn up. Even replaced ignition module on
column, not the problem. Going through fuses like crazy. Starters will operate
from 1 week to 3 months before going out. Please help!
